Steven Universe Future | Will Steven Become Evil? | Theory

If you haven't watched Steven Universe Future up until the episode "Fragments", you may not wan't to read this as it contains spoilers. Anyway, lets get right into the series. So, as you may know from the series thus far, Steven is developing quite a temper. I mean, rightfully so, this is a kid that has been put through so much trauma that most other kids his age don't have to deal with. Not only that, but Steven has no one he can relate to about his exact issues because no kid has ever gone through anything quite like him. 

In the latest episode of Steven Universe Future, Fragments, we see Steven turn to Jasper for help on how to manage his anger and turn it into power, which I must say is very Anakin & Darth Sidious type stuff, but anyway, he turns to Jasper for help. Jasper through the episode trains Steven to turn his anger into power, and then spars Steven towards the end of the episode. Steven traps Jasper, then gets carried away and ends up shattering her. At the end of the episode, he brings her gemstone to the bath in fragments, and he was surprisingly able to heal her shattered gem. 

Him being able to heal her shattered gem brings me on to another topic about Pink Diamond, but I will include that in another post. When Jasper reforms, she bows down to Steven and calls him "My Diamond" because she has so much respect for his strength after he shatters her. 

Now, beside Stevens countless traumatic experiences and his recent outburst, there is not much evidence backing up my theory, but I think Steven Universe will turn either evil or corrupted and become the main antagonist in the show. In fact, I believe that Steven might be or have something to do with the giant monster we see in the theme song. 

I do have some reasoning behind why I think this giant monster show at the top of the picture above will be the main antagonists for the rest of the series, and this is because its face is the only face animated in the intro, and it is the biggest at the top. If you don't understand what I am saying yet, I am comparing the creature's sole animation and large scale to Yellow Diamond in the Steven Universe season 2/3 intro where Yellow Diamond was the biggest and the only one animated, and she ended up being a main antagonist for most of the series.
